In April 2016, a consulting firm was engaged to write and manage the historic district application for a fee of $48,600. The first draft of the nomination form was submitted to the National Park Service in November 2016.
The ENA has paid over $70,000 to date (September 2021) on HD-related efforts that have been disclosed. Interestingly, all issues of ENA newsletters for the years 2014-2018 are missing from its web site. ENA financial statements are often reported in the newsletters.
The draft of the nomination was presented to the neighborhood in a meeting in January 2017.
